In water 26mg/l (20 DegreeC). In acetone 110, cyclohexanone 180, dichloromethane 100, hexane 10, xylene 60, methanol 150, propylene glycol 50 (all in g/l, 20 DegreeC).
Stable for more than 2 years at 20 DegreeC, and more than 6 months at 50 DegreeC. Stable to hydrolysis (PH 4-9), and not degraded by u.v. light (PH7, 10 days)
Inhibits gibberellin biosynthesis and are involved in reducing abscisic acid, ethylene and indole-3-acetic acid while increasing cytokinin levels. Use on fruit trees to inhibit vegetable growth and improve the fruit set, increase tillering on rice, reduce lodging, retard growth on turf. Protect plants against abiotic stresses such as drought stress. Prevent the crops against mildew and rusts.
Used on fruit trees to inhibit vegetative growth and to improve fruit set; on pot-grown ornamentals and flower crops(e.g. chrysanthemums, begonias, freesias, poinsettias and bulbs)to inhibit growth; on rice to increase tillering, reduce lodging, and increase yield;
on turf to retard growth; and on grass seed crops to reduce height and prevent lodging.
To be applied as a folia spary, as a soil drench, or by trunk injuection.
